Mexico sketchbook

My first message out to the people going on the bus trip was about which sketchbook together and that sort of things and now we're gonna start talking about what to put in it and I always like to start out with a page that's on the front that tells the person who picks it up in case I'm foolish enough to leave it somewhere Who it belongs to and that hopefully we could get reunited and on the two occasions that I have I have received my book back. I like to put stuff in that's a related to the vacation to the trip to the place that we're going so it kind of starts everything off. It also gets rid of those first page jitters so that you're not going this is white page And this way you've got a chance to open your new book and play with it. Try out your new paint if you just got new paint or a new brush or whatever it may be and to look up some information about the area that you're going to. In my page, I added the butterfly because we are going up to see the butterflies at the reserve And the skull in the middle of it. We will be going to Capula and that's where the Katrina's. We're first developed. I also will be taking a full out accordion book which is a little smaller. That's kind of fun so that you can put all of a trip in one small little book and it's easy to carry in your bag, you don't have to take your entire kit with you and it has a picture of one of the Corazonas that I love. and also a picture of our Lady of Guadalupe. She is everywhere in Mexico, very predominant and hate. It couldn't hurt to have a little lady Guadalupe help. I also included a map of the places that will be going and left some room so that you can write something specific about it when we get there, but at least it's all sort of there and you have some idea where we're going and I just think it's a great way to start your vacation by sort of getting your mind in the right direction. Lots of people just keep going in one sketchbook and I have many of those sketchbooks but in this case, I will reserve this sketchbook specifically for my Mexico trip. In my case, I'll probably be starting it before we even leave it down to Mexico in the RV in November.
