Witness millions of Monarch Butterflies
Join us on an immersive field-journaling retreat in central Mexico, exploring the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, forest trails, and vibrant cultural sites. With daily guidance in pen, watercolor, and ARTful journaling, you’ll combine images, words, and collected materials to tell your travel story. Through demos in composition, sketching, and lettering, you’ll slow down, see deeply, and capture meaningful moments—focusing on process over perfection.
We will start and finish in Mexico City. Our travels will center us in Villa Del Bravo, a Magic Town outside of Mexico City. From there we will travel to various locations by passenger van. Each day will be an exciting opportunity to practice our various sketching skills. I will be available for guidance and instruction. I can offer some alternative ways to capture and ‘tell your story’ in your art book!
